I am a third year medical student in Trinity College Dublin.

If you have ploughed through this site you will probably have realised that I am pro-life.

I have no political affiliations.

I strongly believe that the Leaving Certificate should be made more difficult(you'll find many more letters from me here!), that educational standards should be raised not lowered,that philosophy be taught in our schools and that all students be fluent in Irish by the time they leave Primary school.

I think that there should be a widespread campaign to abolish misuse of the apostrophe and that severe punishment's apply to writer's in public places' who abuse it. A government department dealing with the removal of 5 year old "Major Roadworks Ahead" signs should be set up.

I hate cats and chewing gum.

I am a culchie who loves music - I play the violin and listen to everything....Eileen Ivers, Liz Carroll, Cherish the Ladies, Martin Hayes, Natalie MacMaster, Sharon Shannon, Solas, Capercaille, The Chieftains, Christy Moore (Raggle Taggle Gyspsy-O, Lakes of Pontchartrain, Bright Blue Rose, the Voyage- need I say more.....), Gordon Lightfoot (one of the best singer-songwriters ever), Bob Dylan (my absolute fav.), Leonard Cohen (he's also my absolute fav.), Allison Krauss, Sarah McLachan, Natalie Merchant, Johnny Cash (I'm allowed have several absolute favs!), Willie Nelson, Don Williams, Kris Kristofferson, Josh Ritter, Simon and Garfunkel, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Nickelback, Mediaeval Baebes, Vanessa Mae, Yo Yo Ma, Welshmen in choirs, Enya, The Secret Garden, ....and they are just my absolute favourites. If you ever wish to get in to my "good books" a CD from any of the above will suffice!
